I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Deborah Hesketh, founder of Cheshire Therapy.

I became interested in life coaching, counselling and therapy after previously working as a lawyer.  Whilst working in law, I found this to be an incredibly pressured environment which caused me to experience stress, which left me feeling unhappy and uncomfortable compared to when I had felt stress-free, or at least at a more healthy level of stress.  I was so relieved that I was able to overcome my stress - I felt invigorated and re-energised, which led me to want to help others too, and so re-qualified as a life coach, counsellor and therapist.  Working in this field is exceptionally rewarding!  It is fantastic to see a person grow and develop to achieve things they had only previously dreamt about, or to get rid of old issues that have been dragging them down.

I am proud to now work across the UK seeing people face-to-face at various locations.  I also work nationally and internationally via Skype - this technology is absolutely fantastic for communicating across the globe!  Depending on the type of therapy, I also work with clients by telephone.  

My qualifications are diplomas with distinction in life coaching, counselling, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), psychiatry and level 2 EFT (emotional freedom technique).  I have also trained at The Integral Life Centre and CALL Cancer Aid.  Please click on [Life Coaching button], [counselling and CBT button], [EFT button] for further information on these different types of support I offer.
